Jemima Parker has been quite a prolific Canberra artist in recent weeks. We noticed her work at the ‘Blaze Eight’ exhibition at the CCAS (see related post at www.lifeincanberra.com.au/blaze-eight-new-exhibition-opening-at-ccas-gallery/).
Since then she exhibited her 3D textile pieces at the CraftACT’s ‘Curiosities’ and at her individual exhibition and happening ‘Mostly Unobserved’ at the Canberra Contemporary Arts Space in Manuka. She spent few days making a detailed mural art which was then painted back to white at the end of the exhibition… While we couldn’t attend the official opening and closing of the exhibition we were lucky to document the mural moments before it ceased to exist…
And most recently Jemima’s artwork has been given a great exposure during recent Canberra’s FashFest (more details at www.jemimaparker.com).
