I wonder what is more fascinating – making a brand new violin out of a piece of timber or repairing a 300-year -old wonder….?

Madeleine Gisz and Hugh Withycombe happily do it all at the Avenue Violins – everyday!

And it all happens right here in Canberra.  You don’t have to go to Italy or France to see this old craft of  instrument making…  just come over to the Gorman House Arts Centre!
