Professor Sasha Grishin is a leading Australian art historian, art critic and curator.

‘Australian Art: A History”  is his magnum opus, a comprehensive and definitive history of Australian art never so seriously attempted before.

30 thousand words in a 3.5 kg volume dwarfs any previous attempts mainly from 1960’s which covered mostly the art of Australian European painting.

After a Q&A session at the James O Fairfax Theatre in the National Gallery of Australia the author signed books for the first lucky readers.

We strongly believe  the book  should be compulsory reading for every Australian teacher and  student and a definite must for anyone even remotely interested in Australian art…
